Priesthood of the Believer
The Priesthood of the Believer may well be the missing element that has kept so many Christians from becoming the spiritual people God wants them to be and they desire to be. It may be the missing element that has prevented the Church from having true revival.
“You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation,
His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him
who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”
1 Pet 2:9
Attitude of a servant
In this teaching, Sam deals with our attitude when the Holy Spirit talks to us about areas of our life that
are to bow, as a servant, before the Lord of change and transformation. Using the Old Testament example of Joshua being charged by God to go into the promise land and possess it, he brings to our attention the things in our lives that prevent us from possessing God’s fullness and inheritance rights.
Joshua 11:21 declares that he totally destroyed the Anakites (giants) them and their towns. Only in Gaza (defeat), Gath (defiance) and Ashdod (place of defilement) did any survive. Later these giants rose up to fight with the people of God. What giants called defeat, defiance, and defilement in our lives remain to be conquered? It’s time to “call them out” and declare the full victory Jesus secured for us at Calvary.

“For by grace, you have been saved through faith,
and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.
not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
